God’s Haven serves families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness through discipleship, mentoring, housing placement, summer camps, addressing physical needs, and employment assistance. God’s Haven was started over eight years by Bridgett Macklin. It all started when Bridgett felt the Lord leading her to quit her job. This led Bridgett on a journey that eventually led to the establishment of God’s Haven Ministries. At one point homeless with young children, Bridgett knew the plight of families at risk of homelessness and founded God’s Haven to meet the spiritual and physical needs of families who are in a position that she once found herself in. God’s Haven ministers to hundreds of children and adults in South Jackson through their various programs.
